Analyst Trainee Program (ATP) — 2026 Batch
The Analyst Trainee Program (ATP) is GCA's structured entry point into professional consulting.

Growth Capital Analytics (GCA) is a management consulting and strategic advisory firm based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We work with government, development partners, and private-sector clients on high-impact assignments spanning economic policy, public finance, poverty reduction, and sector strategy. Our work is grounded in rigorous, structured problem solving and analytically defensible recommendations.
The Analyst Trainee Program
The Analyst Trainee Program (ATP) is GCA's structured entry point into professional consulting. It is a paid, full-time position, not an internship. Trainees who successfully complete the program advance along a defined career track: Analyst Trainee, Analyst, Senior Analyst, and Associate Consultant.
The program opens with a three-months intensive training and coaching that combines orientation, core consulting tools, analytical method, and an applied real-world case. It is built around GCA's seven-step problem-solving framework:
1. Define the problem
2. Structure and disaggregate the problem
3. Prioritize the key issues
4. Plan the analyses and work
5. Conduct the analyses
6. Synthesize the findings
7. Develop recommendations and communicate
What you will build
● Structured problem solving, issue trees, and hypothesis-based work planning
● Data collection, analysis, and synthesis (quantitative and qualitative)
● Excel modeling and database structuring; financial and economic analysis
